Why the name Piilani?
Piilani is the middle name of the main photographer
Normajean Piilani Walker. Out of respect for her Hawaiian heritage
and honoring her grandmother she decided on the name Piilani
Photography. In Hawaiian the meaning behind Piilani is ascent to
heavens. The beauty of her Hawaiian heritage and her talent is
ever present in the portraits that she has attained during her
photographic career.
What are the payment options?
We accept all major credit cards and cash. Monthly payment plans are available
check with your photographer at the time of booking.
Can we purchase Gift Certificates?
Gift certificates are available year-round in
different denominations. View our shopping cart link above to
purchase gift certificates for any occasion.
Do you provide Rush Service?
Rush services are available. There is a surcharge for this
service. Check with your photographer prior to placing a rush
order on any of our products.
Do we get to keep the negatives?
All weddings receive a CD of their images with the ability to print for
personal use. We do not guarantee the quality of the prints when
purchased through outside labs. Our lab professionally enhances
each and every portrait and prints are made on Kodak Endura Professional
Paper to ensure the quality of your portraits.
Do we meet with our photographer?
We provide free telephone consultation. For a
direct consultation apts. are available for a fee of $150.00 that will
be applied towards your wedding when you book with us.
Do we get proofs?
All packages include free password protected online proofing. This allows you and your guests the freedom of viewing your
portraits at your convenience. Couples can also receive all of the wedding
day images in a magazine style proof album that is theirs to keep.
What is your Holiday surcharge?
Packages are slightly higher during the holiday seasons.

Do you charge for travel?
Check with your photographer at time of booking.
Outside of the United States is based on current airfare and hotel stay.
All special permits or fees required by location will be paid for by client.
What is the minimum deposit?
Yes, deposit is generally 1/3 of entire package price is due upon signing. This amount is applied toward the balance of your
account. Portrait sessions require full payment at time of
booking. Please contact your photographer if special arrangements
need to be made.
When is final payment due?
Final payment is due 2 (two) weeks prior to wedding date. Portrait packages are due
1 (one) week prior to session.
